Les Carnets d'Anatole

When I mention bookbinding, it's often beautiful old books, with a nice old paper smell and a golden title on the spine, that come first to mind. If I chose to focus on notebooks and grimoire in my practice, it doesn't mean I never handle printed books, quite the contrary !

In this portfolio, you will discover some of the books I worked on, giving then a new and solid binding, from classics like Roman de la Momie to pop culture comics anthology. For the graphic novel Middlewest, I went a little further, designing a cover with handcut silhouettes and marquetry title.
