Les Carnets d'Anatole

Do you know Inktober, the illustration challenger that take place every year in october ? During an entire month, all types of artist from around the world challenge themselves to create everyday a new illustration, following a preset list of subjects. The original list of the challenge is not the only one available to artists : a thousand more can be found, for a variety of themes and techniques !

In 2024, I chose to follow the list made by the OPIE (Office pour la Protection des Insectes et de leur Environnement, an org that work for the protection of insects and their environment) with a new insect every day. No medium or techniques was imposed for that challenge, so I chose to work with my favorite traditional medium, watercolors.
